Sažetak
The new Industrial revolution called Industry 4.0 creates new challenges for the whole supply chain, particularly in assembly processes. Information visibility becomes crucial in all phases of production. The popular data gathering technology is the RFID system. However, RFID technology has some limitations. In this paper, three RFID systems were considered in order to decide which of them will be applied in a gearbox assembly line that has been developing inside the Learning Factory at FESB. One RFID system is based on the Raspberry Pi platform and µFR Nano, while the other two systems are based on the Arduino platform with compatible RFID shields. A performance of RFID systems, i.e. readability of data at different passing speeds were investigated. Analysis of the test results and conclusions are given.
