Sažetak
A time optimal armature current control algorithm has been derived for a linearized armature loop model of a thyristor-supplied direct-current motor with a separate and constant excitation. Using a reference model, an adaptation algorithm has been developed which allows the transient response to extend over a period exceeding time optimal transient response by one samplimg interval, provided that the value of parameter change is known. If this value is not known, the armature current response is extended over several sampling intervals. Furthermore, an algorithm providing for parameter estimation and parameter change adjustment has been developed in order to allow, together withthe time optimal control algorithm, the armature current response to be completed within four sampling intervals irrespective of the magnitude of parameter change. The applicability of the algorithms developed has been tested by computer simulation.
