Sažetak
The paper presents the results of the research and visualisation tests concerning flow between corrugated chevron plates commonly employed in plate heat exchangers. The influences of the chevron angle &#61538 ; ; , Re number and corrugation aspect ratio b/l on the flow pattern and performances are delineated. The experimental heat transfer data available from the open literature are compared against the results obtained from the H. Martin&#8217 ; ; s semi-empirical correlation.
