Sažetak
In this paper we demonstrate our original work on robot's assistance to physiotherapists during rehabilitation exercises with patients who just healed hand fractures. We have analyzed 18 exercises and using the Choregraphe programming tool for the NAO humanoid robot, a choreography has been made for them. While each exercise is in progress, NAO first explains to patients how an exercise should be performed, repeats those instructions and counts how many times an exercise was repeated raising in that way their motivation to keep on exercising. The implementation on NAO and testing in the laboratory conditions showed the feasibility and usefulness of the robot as a physiotherapy assistant. The paper concludes with the discussion about the challenges encountered and their possible solutions.
