Sažetak
The main aim of this paper is to analyse, by using the Community Innovation Survey (CIS) and eCORDA data, whether participation of SMEs in EU R&I funds so far resulted in an increase of their innovation activities, economic performance and R&D investments. To do that we empirically test whether the SMEs that received EU funds record an improvement of their economic performance measured by turnover and employment.
