Sažetak
The goal of this thesis is to raise the ecological awareness of students in order to create a mindful generations aware of today problems and incite their sustainable behavior. There is a questionnaire conducted on University of Rijeka, Faculty of Economics and Business where students were requested to fill out the questionnaire in order to approach their way of thinking, problems that may affect their decisions and getting the statistic data. Through the questionnaire, it was shown that students mostly act based on their incomes, given time and information. The thesis is based on the student awareness in everyday life and the factors that influence their decisions. It is also visible that family, politics, environment and previous education have a certain role in a person’s behavior. However, as we want to increase the awareness, not only temporary but henceforward, through the thesis it will be show the ways to attract people to act sustainably through jobs, sports, leisure and lifestyle. The goal is not to only become aware, but also to spread the certain life habits onto younger generations.
