Sažetak
The Virtual Reality Modelling Language [1], VRML has become a recognised standard for network applied and network distributed virtual reality during the past three years. In this article, we shall describe and present current ideas in VRML technology that are mostly focused on integrating the VRML with other technologies applied in Internet services (e.g. data streaming and push techniques, multicasting and multimedia). Our example is a project of the VRIT group (Virtual Reality/Internet Technology) involving a VRML webcast of the University Sailing Regatta, the first attempt at a pseudo or true real- time VR webcast such an event
