Sažetak
The tire is the only touching surface of a road vehicle with a pad. It must provide a number of safety features such as steering, elasticity, load bearing, force transfer, durability, etc. The technical performance characteristics of truck tires are an important feature in selecting the tire itself. Exploitation features means a number of interrelated features, which depend on the suitability of the vehicle for use under different conditions. Tire maintenance is not demanding, and tire durability depends on the internal pressure, driving style and driver, and the condition of the roadway and vehicle. Using a tire outside the intended season reduces safety. Tests help with the correct tire selection. The tests are carried out under appropriate conditions.
