Sažetak
For the last twenty years, organic agriculture has been developing and the demand for organic products on the market have been increasing. One of the products is organic milk, and the production of organic milk in Croatia is regulated by legislation that applies to other EU Member states. The paper present statistics on the state of organic milk production in the period 2013 to 2017 in the Croatia and the European Union, as well as animal breeding conditions and product labeling. The differences between organic and conventional milk are also given. Croatia’s natural resources are suitable for production and further progress in the future.
