Sažetak
A staight wire antenna model of a lightning channel as presented in the paper. The lihghtning chanel is presented by a monopole antenna vertically placed on the perfectly conducting earth. The lightning channelcurrent is obtained as a solution of the space-time Hallen integral equation. The space-time varing current distribution along the discharging channel then can be used for the calculation of the induced electromagnetic field in the vicinity of the channel, and for investigating the related coupling effects like the voltage at the ends of the line.
