Sažetak
This paper presents a MPEG-4 Facial Animation System designed for handheld devices. MPEG-4 standard is main and only standard for Facial Animation today. The majority of Virtual Characters are made according to MPEG-4 Face and Body Animation (MPEG-4 FBA) specification that is part of MPEG-4 standard. Therefore the system presented in this article is in line with mentioned MPEG-4 standard and, was designed to enable presentation of an Animated Interactive Virtual Character, capable of human-like behavior, on a handheld device. The implemented system is device independent, and suitable for heterogeneous environments such as Internet. The Java programming language was used to assure the portability of the system.
