Sažetak
The God Machine thought experiment envisaged by Persson and Savulescu is presented and critically examined. Several arguments are presented that aim to show that such a device would endanger our autonomy and present a harm for the individual and for society as well. Another aspect of the God Machine thought experiment that is often neglected is examined: under which conditions it would be appropriate to trade away our freedom or a part of it in order to reach a better society.
