Sažetak
The precise mechanism of the disease that develops after successful grafting of immunologically competent cells into allogeneic hosts (“allogeneic disease”) is still obscure. We have studied it using as a model an “acute allogeneic disease” caused by a mixture of bone marrow and lymph node cells injected into lethally irradiated allogeneic mice. From serially killed animals we have obtained a number of very reproducible patterns of the disease
