Sažetak
There seems to exist a genetic link between post-Marxism as a theoretical approach and post-socialism as a historical condition: the catastrophic collapse of attempts at an application of the political concepts of ‘radical and plural democracy’ of Laclau and Mouffe among the social movements of ‘civil society’ in Slovenia in the late 1980s do not only raise some lessons in practical politics, they also expose theoretical myopias, and especially the dramatic failure of the perspective of ‘hegemonic political articulation’ in accounting for the phenomena of nationalism.
