Sažetak
Construction and quantification of impact of programmed treatments on sportsmen is a growing issue in modern sport science (Ingham, Carter, Whyte, & Doust, 2008) so the aim of this research was to identify and explain impact of a four-week programmed treatment on functional abilities in young rowers. The sample of 10 rowers has been measured four times (baseline, two transitive and final measurement) in variables 1000m and 4000m rowing in a boat and rowing a rowing ergometer. One way repeated measures ANOVA was used for identification of programmed treatment on functional abilities. ANOVA revealed significant impact of training programme on the three observed variables. Although experimental design did not include control group, results clearly indicated that the applied training programme can be used for rowing practice. Further research with larger samples and a control group would provide a larger amount of applicable information for trainers and scientists.
