Sažetak
He accuracy of shock tubes velocity of detonation measurement depends on the distance and signal delay time between two probes. In this paper, the distance error is reduced by using a special CNC machined base with the accuracy of 0.01 mm. The explosion light was converted into electrical signals by using photodiodes, the delay time was measured by using two oscilloscopes connected through an ethernet router to a computer and a virtual instrument was made in Labview data acquisition software. The measurements showed that the measurement conducted with oscilloscopes gives a consistent result.
