Sažetak
The author first discusses methodological problems with the problems of studying early Croatian history and emphasizes, inter alia, the meaning of Freud's theories. The idea of a hypothetical network of communication - a matrix in a particular group - is being developed. Then the ethnogenesis of Croatians in Illyricum is explained as a process. In addition, the thought of the Croatian state is being elaborated at the time of the national rulers as "rule". The author explained the meaning of family canonization as a prerequisite for the consolidation of society and gave new interpretations of the symbolism of Croatian monuments. Special attention is devoted to the "ideology" of society of that time. and based on the Chronicles of Pop Dukljanin reveals the aggressive behavior that was later described in epic poetry. Based on an analysis of early Croatian culture, the author concludes that the superego of the Croats gradually changed positively the dp of the Ottoman naval.
