Sažetak
The buckling analysis of functionally graded (FG) beam in the creep conditions is presented. In the creep conditions, columns under sustained axial loading are generally unstable. Their stable deformation form may be lost during some final exploitation period even for loads lower than critical buckling ones. In that context, the critical buckling time defned as a loading duration at which deflections tends to infinity, is more appropriate criterion for defining their collapse and load carrying capacities. The creep behaviour of FG material is modelled assuming the creep laws based on experimental data available in literature. Deflection versus time curves are plotted to illustrate the FG beam creep buckling responses. Material distribution efects on stable beam state is considered. In order to determine creep buckling critical times, the several test examples are run for various material parameter. For the sake of simplicity, the isothermal conditions are assumed.
