Sažetak
Asking „Is there place for traditional school in the future“ the Authors analyze first major change in Europeana schooling system: Mariatheresian reform and process of Enlightenment. The Enlightenment contributed to major changes in people's thinking, promoting a reason as a means of understanding which has the ability to find the solutions for designing a more humane society. Educated and trained people have become a part of the political system. The Autrhors analyze growth of literarcy as a moment of changing society and replicate on today area and process of learning new set of knowledge and skills.
