Sažetak
During time period from 1794 to 1822 Lamarck, using reordering, reranking, transposition and splitting, considerably revised the invertebrate zoology. He established 10 new classes and many lower taxa. Lamarck abandoned the Bonnet's scala naturae, introduced ascending ordering of taxa as well as genealogical trees.The important by-product of his permanent systematic revision is discovery of evolution. In the paper the problem of the scientific discovery in systematics is considered.
