Sažetak
In accordance with Article 37 (4) of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation, the Committee for Risk Assessment (RAC) has adopted an opinion on the proposal for harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) of cobalt (EC Number: 231-158-0, CAS Number: 7440-48-4). The proposal was submitted by the Netherlands’ competent authority. It was proposed to classify cobalt as Carc. 1B, Muta. 2 and Repr. 1B, in addition to already existing classification as Resp. Sens. 1, Skin Sens. 1 and Aquatic Chronic 4.
