Sažetak
Mass movements of migrants during the 2015-2016 migration crisis tested the response capacities of the countries around the globe. National migration and integration policies ranged from most restrictive to most generous ones. The huge number of migrants challenged the capacities of the asylum systems and integration institutions in numerous countries and in different ways. Migration and integration governance is dispersed across national, regional, local, EU and global levels. The issue of integration of migrants is considerably related to diversity and rising complexity of social environment in the destination countries. The book contains a selection of papers presented at the international conference organized by the Croatian Institute of Public Administration in Dubrovnik in May 2017.
