Sažetak
This talk outlines the ERC-funded project ‘Soundscape Indices’ being conducted at UCL IEDE which features interdisciplinary analyses of urban acoustic environments with the aim to effectively measure their perceptual impact as a basis for environmental design. The project encompasses field and laboratory research in order to characterise soundscapes, by capturing them and establishing a comprehensive database which serves as a basis for laboratory testing of perceptual and physiological effects. Recent results feature work in topics connecting urban soundscapes and public health, soundscape standardisation and development of new soundscape indicators.
