Sažetak
In the park area stretching 74 km2, the vegetation can be divided into 39 plant communities within the classes Lemnetea, Potamogetonetea, Phragmiti-Magnocaricetea, Isoëto-Nanojuncetea, Bidentetea tripartiti, Chenopodietea, Molinio-Arrhenatheretea, Querco-Fagetea and Paliuretea. Although the park belongs to the Submediterranean vegetational zone, the aquatic vegetation is not significantly different from the one found in the inland Balkan Peninsula. The overall picture of vegetation in the Hutovo Blato wetland does not show serious degradation trends, despite the fact that the area is influenced by multiple human impacts.
