Sažetak
The strain guides effectiveness of the band saw is still a very interestind and not sufficiently clarified problem since it is influenced by many parameters and different opinions on the use of the strain guides still exist.The optimal choise of the strain guides position, the strain force and the optimal compressed air pressure may effect the total band saw effectiveness significantly. The paper describes results of some of the measurements that were carriedout on the "BONGIOANNI 1300 CANADIAN" baand saw equipped with strain guides.
