Sažetak
Panel focused on two main themes: Children and Youth Co-Creating Public Space & Space for Play and Education of Children and Youth on Public Space. By 2030 it is expected that nearly 5 billion people will live in cities. (Urban) public space is getting scarce. What are the main problems and challenges for children and youth regarding public spaces, spaces where they can play, move and learn? Do we understand enough of their needs and wishes in relation to public space for them? Are children and youth sufficiently involved in co-creation of spaces for play and public space in general? Do the children and youth know enough about public spaces and are they aware of it’s importance? What can be done to improve education on this topic and what can be done to involve children& youth more in all this processes?
