The presentation discusses the future of the Alexandrian program of cultural sociology, and its relation to the competing programs (sociology of culture, cultural studies, cultural theory, visual sociology, public sociology) with regard to the different "national containers" of major sociological traditions (US, Britain, Germany, France) plus the EU and Central Europe.

Rad je pozvano predavanje na interdisciplinarnoj radionici, koju su organizirali Forschungsgesellschaft Moderne/Postmoderne an der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz (FOMOP), Odjel za sociologiju Sveučilišta u Zadru i Consortium of the International Joint Master's Degree in Cultural Sociology (Graz-Zadar-Trento-Brno). Predavanje je pozvao i u program uključio Consortium of the International Joint Master's Degree in Cultural Sociology (Graz-Zadar-Trento-Brno).
