[A lecture on epigenome editing using CRISPR/Cas9-based molecular tools. General mechanisms of gene expression regulation by CpG methylation. A comprehensive molecular toolbox for such regulation was presented. Further, examples of application to biological problems were discussed, with a focus on functional validation of genes involved in N-glycosylation of proteins.]
