Sažetak
Driving bicycle for recreation is a very popular way of spending free time in Europe. Tourist agencies are starting to organize a group ture for this special kind of tourists. In June 2000 the Kvarner County Tourism Office and tourist operator Riva-tours organized Spring Bicycle Tour of the Bavarian Radio and Television on Kvarner Islands. On those tour 490 German tourists whit the average age of 52 years crossed about 300 kilometers in 7 days. They cycled on 5 islands and were transported by 22 boats and two ferries from one island to another. Such a large group of tourists and complicated itinerary deserved a special organisation of their medical assistance. In this work we present the organisation of the medical assistance and medical problems encountered.
