Sažetak
Social supermarkets are social enterprises serving to socially endangered citizens. As social enterprises, they encounter difficulties with finding adequate funding in timely manner. In this paper, several finance models are together with their potential role in financing the specific needs of social supermarkets. The theoretical research provides an academic basis for understanding of the specific characteristics of social supermarkets’ financing. By investigating the potential of several selected innovative financial models, and by recognizing and analyzing enablers and hinders of funding of social supermarkets, we provide a systematic theoretical framework as the basis for the future quantitative research.
