Sažetak
An interdisciplinary approach to dental treatment is most desirable and may dramatically improve the treatment outcome as well as long term prognosis. Orthodontics is an important player in this team to facilitate better management of the challenging dentofacial problems which are particular in adult population. the interdisciplinary need for adult patients often includes ortho, periodontal and prosthetic treatment as well as implants and surgery. The ultimate goal of this approach is to create an ideal environment in which the patient feels comfortable and all members of the team can work effectively.
