Sažetak
The zeolite tuff which belongs to volcanoclastic deposits of the Lower Miocene from an abandoned quarry from Donje Jesenje (Croatia) was used to determine the degree of lead and cobalt removal from water. The main component of tuff is one mineral from zeolite group - clinoptilolite (>50%). The natural zeolite and one previously treated with HCl acid were used for purification of the distilled water with dissolved salts of lead and cobalt.
