Sažetak
A combined method for strength analysis of shafts and axles is presented in this paper. Finite element method is used for obtaining stresses and form factors on critical cross sections of loaded shaft or axle, while according to German standard DIN 743 proof of strength is performed on the basis of these values. The proof is based on calculation of safety factors against fatigue and against static failure. Proposed method is displayed on a simple example.
