Sažetak
This paper provides an analysis of Latin loanwords in Thomas Elyot's The Proheme from The Boke named the Gouernour. It deals with the diachronic development of selected vocabulary from the text, and provides a reconstruction of their diachronic development, with particular emphasis on the processes of metaphor and metonymy.
