The case of a 51‑year‑old woman who was admitted to the emergency department presenting with progressively worsening headache, nausea, dizziness, and ataxia. Ten days before the onset of symptoms she was discharged from another hospital, where she was treated with oseltamivire after type A influenza virus had been isolated from her saliva
