Sažetak
Toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) is a life-threatening, rapidly evolving mucocutaneous rection characterized by white spread erythema, necrosis and bullous detachment of the epidermis resembling the effects of scalding, constitutional sympthoms and internal organ involvement. We report the case of an 88, 6-year-old-male patient who developed a severe and extensive clinical feature of TEN within 24 h after contimoxazole (trimethoprim-sulphamethoxazole)administration due to urinary infection. Despite his very serious conditions our patient responded well to treatment and did not developed complications.
