Sažetak
This report presents conceptual design of the Heavy Rope Overhead Crane (HROC) remotely handled system. Main design requirements are identified and discussed. Results regarding overall dimensions and connection configurations between HROC components are obtained analytically, numerically and experientially. Conceptual design is driven by the HROC requirements and obtained results. Four conceptual designs are proposed. Considering the final conceptual design and imposed demands, maximum permitted acceleration and deceleration of the HROC remotely handled system are determined. Basic equipment for autonomous remote handling of components is also proposed.
