Sažetak
The paper deals with citizenship law in the first Yugoslav state in the period from 1918 until 1941. The analysis begins with an explanation of legal diversity, legal areas and problem of unification of law in the first Yugoslavia. Then we elaborate differences in citizenship law regulations and practices as a starting point of our research. In addition, we debate thesis about existence of Yugoslav citizenship law in the period before enactment of the first Citizenship Code in 1928. Then we analize unification of citizenship law in the Citizenship Code of 1928 and limitations of this unification.
