Sažetak
Green alga of Chllorella genus is the endosymbiont in gastrodermal myoepithelial cells of green hydra. The aim of this study was to establish the toxic effects of antibiotic ciprofloxcin on their relationship. Animals were treated with 0.5, 1.0 and 5.0 g/L of water solution of ciprofloxacin. Sections were observed by means of light and electron microscope. Ciprofloxacin caused mortality morphological, cytological and ultrastructural changes in both hydra and alga.
