Sažetak
Stressful life, the concentration of animals and the presence of different species in a small living space acutate development, multiplication and spreading of parasites in reptiles. It has to be stressed that reptiles may carry parasitic diseases, which can be spread to other animals and humans too. Reptiles may act as the definitve, paratenic, or intermediate hosts for a large number of species of helminths. Especially nematodes are found in all orders of reptiles, and several genera are really important.
