Sažetak
Every day we can find some new articles related to global warming and environmental pollution and its negative effects on the economy and the enviroment. That is why this paper is presenting renewable energy sources, how European countries are using them and how much money and effort EU countries are investing into creating a healthier environment and lower opperating costs. Additionally, we are going to run out of fossil fuels at some point in the future because their amount is finite and we must therefore develop new technologies to use other sources of energy as well as reward technologies that pollute the environment less. It is really important to analyse what EU countries have done so far regarding renewable energy usage and what are their future projections. Additionally there is a need to describe and analyse which of the renewable energy sources are the most efficient and the most used to conclude where improvements can and must be achieved.
