Sažetak
Typical EMG measurement system consists of one central device with sever-al channels ; which are connected to the central unit with wires. Central de-vice samples data from channels and supplies energy for the channels. It transfers data further to a device providing the user with graphical interface. Connection from central device to user interface device can be with or with-out wires. Very common drawback of such systems is that the wires limit pa-tient movements ; make EMG measurements relatively uncomfortable and they are not available for personal use because of relatively high prices. The goal of this project was to design, construct and test a compact-size, wireless and surface-electrode EMG measurement system. The intention is that device could be used as a single channel wireless EMG acquisition sys-tem which uses smartphone as a graphical user interface. Due to its simplici-ty and low price it is hoped to be available for home, everyday, personal use.
