Sažetak
The paper gives a systematic review of Croatian accounting system from its inital implementation after the socialist period to the current stage of harmonization process with EU directives and International Financial Reporting Standards. The paper identifies the main changes in Croatian accounting system from 1993. to 2006 and analyzes the effects of this changes to accounting profession and financial reporting system.
