Sažetak
In this paper the author concentrates herself on the impact of the processes of globalisation on management and organisation theory. Doing it she addresses herself to Hardt and Negri's Empire due to two reasons: Firstly, in order to challenge the postmodernist dichotomy - modern/postmodern organisation and propose her own thesis that the global project originate the moment of discontinuity rather than continuity changing the entire organisational paradigm ; secondly, to emphasize the importance of the description of the role of biopower in passage from the binary structure of power to network power. The underlying message of the polemics in postmodern thinking from both sides of Atlantic is that it is hardly possible to explain the new social entities emerging from the global age by the old structures of mind or mental models, i.e. we can not enter the new age with an old social templates.
