Sažetak
The goal of this thesis is to study the problem of indexing mammalian genomes. This work entails a survey of the state-of-the-art algorithms for the suffix array construction, re-engineering the chosen algorithm(s) as 64-bit versions and developing a visualization of the suffix array construction process.
