Sažetak
The goal of this master thesis work is to examine the most frequent Diameter traffic scenarios inside the PCC entity. To provide the adequate AVP values for the messages exchanged on the Gx and Rx interface, and finally to model the Diameter traffic based on the implemented Diameter messages and adequate AVP values inside the messages. Once the Diameter traffic is modeled the further step is to define the statistical distributions and their adequate parameters based on which the modeled Diameter traffic shall be generated in the test agents. Also as part of the software solution the test agent dimensioning algorithm was provided to enable Diameter traffic generation on a distributed environment. Also the user will be able to receive partial statistical results on demand, and final statistical report when the simulation finishes. All in all this work enables to the user to test the PCRF server with various statistical distributions and Diameter traffic scenarios, providing performances and stress testes of the PCRF server.
