Sažetak
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by activated, functionally altered mononuclear cells in the peripheral blood (PB) as well as in the synovial fluid (SF). Altered membrane-bound low affintity IgE receptor, FceRII (CD23), and it's soluble form, sCD23, are considered as indicators of B cell dysfunction that could lead to excessive rheumatoid factor (RF) production in RA patients.
