Sažetak
Rapid technology development over the last few decades brought many opportunities for companies. However, it also brings many challenges as how to “be up to date” and follow the needs and desires of customers in order to be competitive and bring them value. In recent years, focus has been on the development of a range of digital technologies so many of the companies are using them in the process of digital transformation in order to be able to survive on the market. Therefore, this chapter explains the values of digital technologies and emphases the importance of having a clear digital transformation strategy through the process of digital transformation. Moreover, the overview of the selected best practice examples is presented based on the MIT 50 smartest lists in the recent years.
