Sažetak
Bovine erythrocytes, BHK and hamster lung fibroblasts were studied with respect to cell membrane organisation and dynamics, as assesed by the spin probe methyl ester of doxyl palmitate, MeFASL(10, 3). Special emphasis was put on the organisational alterations induced by changes in temperature, pH, calcium concentration as well as osmotic concentration of the extracellular medium. EPR line shapes were simulated in order to determine the relative population area of the cell membrane by domains, characterised by different molecular ordering and dynamics. At least two types of domains were possible to to be resolved in spectra of both types of cells. The cells appeared to0 be different in respect to gemeral fluidity, fibroblasts being more fluid. For both types of cells the menmebrane organisation was changed under the temperature, pH, calcium concentration and osmotic influences. Physiological importance of the results was discussed.
