Sažetak
The reaction rate, by which the cwells reduce the nitroxide radicals in cell suspension, is assumned to be importnat characterisitc describing the coupled cellular events: metabolism, viability and the cell membrane permeability. The effects of phase growth on V-79 cells (exponential and plateau) and two different detachment procedures from the plastic bottom of the cell culture dishes on the reaction rate of nitroxide reduction were studied. The dye exclusion test was also performed to quantify the extent of damage induced by the cell detachment procedures (rubber policeman and trypsin).
